Our mission is to help you and your dog have the best relationship possible. We believe that starts by training dogs and pet parents in obedience, good manners and appropriate behavior. We use positive reinforcement and focus on conditioning your dog to behave using proven methods from experts in the industry. Our trainers are IACP certified, and have trained multiple service dogs for Canine Companions for Independence and K-9 for Warriors. Whether you have a rescue dog or grand champion purebred, we want to help your relationship Be the best it can be. We all have unconditional love for our pets, but life is much easier if we can have a well behaved dog at home, walking on leash or at the park. that’s what we can do for you.

Services

Daycare

Our daycare program includes spacious indoor/outdoor, supervised group play areas featuring turf, toys, wading pools, and of course, Sit, Stay, Play handlers. At our facility, dogs are separated according to size, temperament and activity level. Once your dog is registered and has met all the requirements, they can come and play with us anytime. The benefits of daycare include much-needed exercise, dog-dog socialization and less guilt for owners with busy schedules. We can accommodate most special needs, such as feeding meals, offering naps or down-time in our suites.

Training with Daycare

Have your puppy go to doggie school for fun and learning. Each day will include three, 20 minute training sessions with recess with the other puppies in our play groups. We will send home video highlight of the training.

Customized Training/Behavioral Issues

We have all known a dog that barks non-stop or tears apart the house every time you leave. We can help with behavioral issues that might be driving you crazy. We offer free consultations and will develop a custom training program where we work one-on-one with you and your dog.

leash lessons

We teach loose leash walking and help find the best equipment for your particular dog. We believe a pleasant walk with your dog can be the best exercise and bonding experience for you both. Our goal is to eliminate pulling, barking at others and risky behaviors. We have group and individual sessions.

Boarding

We offer an alternative to traditional boarding. We go beyond fulfilling a dog’s basic needs and incorporate the benefits of daycare with spacious suites for eating and sleeping. Dogs that stay overnight are automatically enrolled in daycare during their stay. You must make an appointment for all boarding. Email reception@sitstayplayky.com or call 859.885.3647.

Board and train

This is a great idea for a new puppy or adoption. We teach basic obedience and socialize your new dog with people and other dogs. Packages include a free consultation, a training lesson with the owner once boarding is complete, two follow up training sessions within a month of boarding, video updates throughout boarding sessions and discounts for additional training down the road.

AKC: Puppy Star Training

We love puppies…a blank slate with a ton of energy where it’s easy to make learning fun! We have puppy group classes which help socialize your dog and learn basic obedience. We also have private lesson packages where we will meet you at your home.

AKC: Canine Good Citizen Test and Training

The Canine Good Citizen Program is the gold standard of behavior for dogs. The two-part program stresses responsible pet ownership and basic good manners for dogs. All dogs who pass the 10-step CGC test will receive a certificate from the American Kennel Club.
